Created in 2004 to bring together the HES forces of the cantons of the Jura Arc, the HE-Arc today welcomes more than 3,000 students, professors and collaborators on its main training campuses in Neuchâtel and Delémont as well as in within its Applied Research and Development units in the Bernese Jura and the Neuchâtel mountains.
Guided by a desire for innovation, creativity, dynamism and transparency, it pursues the main missions devolved to universities by the Confederation in the fields of training and research.
Thanks to the specialized skills of its teaching staff, the diversity of its training courses and the quality of its equipment, the Haute Ecole Arc is a recognized player and a privileged partner of the industrial, political, academic and institutional worlds.
The only tri-cantonal school and North Pole of French-speaking Switzerland for the HES-SO, the Haute Ecole Arc has four areas of training: Conservation-restoration, Management, Engineering and Health.
The courses are aimed at holders of a vocational school leaving certificate (or equivalent) and lead to a university-level diploma recognized in Switzerland and abroad. The School also offers the opportunity to specialize in a particular field or to acquire interdisciplinary skills. Listening; it offers many tools and resources to make the most diverse personal projects a reality.
It should be noted that three of the eight Bachelors courses at the Haute Ecole Arc are unique in French-speaking Switzerland: Business Law, Industrial Design Engineering and Conservation-Restoration.
