From matter to the application of polymers
The iRAP institute makes it possible to address short and long-term technical challenges and to offer a rapid and effective response to industrial partners, starting from the choice of material to the application of polymers (Design-Materials-Process ).
Objective
The iRAP research institute specializes in different fields of plastics processing: the development and manufacture of materials with high added value, biosourced and sustainable materials, compounds, composites, plastic and ceramic injection , surface technologies and nanotechnology. The institute also has state-of-the-art equipment for characterization and testing.
The iRAP institute’s mission is to collaborate with industry, through applied research and development (Ra&D) projects as well as services (mandate) on short, medium and long-term projects ..
Highlights
The iRAP institute aims to rely on a reservoir of skills and a high-level fleet of equipment to strengthen and sustain industrial collaborations that can lead to innovations. The iRAP institute offers advice on the selection and processing of plastics, designs alternative product options and finds innovative, sustainable and commercially attractive solutions.
