The Swatch Group R&D

The Swatch Group Research and Development SA was founded in 2005 and started operating on September 1 of the same year. Today, the company brings together, in three distinct divisions, the missions of Asulab, Moebius and the CDNP (Center for the Development of New Products).

Thus, The Swatch Group Research and Development SA brings together the research and development activities of the Group companies in a single entity. Therefore, the specific missions of Asulab, Moebius and CDNP continue within this new structure

The Swiss Plastics Cluster was created in 2005 in collaboration with the University of Engineering and Architecture of Friborg and five Friborg companies from the field of plastics processing. Our main mission is to generate collaborative applied research projects which relationship with several companies and academic partners.
