Christophe and Sébastien Jacot have been co-owners of Admo Plastique SA since 2013. Founded in Le Locle in 1981, the company specializes in manufacturing composite parts for the watchmaking, medical, dental, and connector industries.
The clients, including the key players in watchmaking, mainly come from the Swiss market. In March 2017, the company was certified ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems and ISO 13485 for Medical Devices. The in-house design and production of tooling allow the company to ensure expertise, greater responsiveness, and better cost control. All materials, such as polystyrene, polyethylene, polyamides, ABS, highly technical materials like PPS, PET, PEEK, as well as bio-sourced and biodegradable materials, can be processed.
The finished products range from appearance parts and packaging to highly technical components that sometimes need to withstand high temperatures. The La Chaux-de-Fonds site has 26 injection molding machines, with clamping forces ranging from 25 to 320 tons.
The Cressier/FR site has 12 machines with clamping forces ranging from 15 to 100 tons. The mechanical department, mainly based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, is equipped with conventional machines, several machining centers, and electrical discharge machining (EDM) equipment.
