Dial specialists

Integrated into the Swatch Group in April 2002, the company Rubattel & Weyermann, based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, specializes in the manufacture of watch dials. Its main customers are the high-end, Prestige and Luxury brands of Swatch Group. It was founded in 1890 by two engravers and guillochers, Frédéric Rubattel and Walther Weyermann. The company complements its product range with value-added services that range from design advice to technical development assistance.

Having made it a priority, for several years, to master various professions of yesteryear that are in danger of disappearing, Rubattel & Weyermann can now count on two that are part of the company's know-how. Thus, after the restoration of old machines called “guilloching lathes” and “straight lines” and after the training of several employees, the company has mastered guilloching and can meet the current needs of the Group's Prestige brands. In the same vein and in the purest watchmaking tradition, Rubattel & Weyermann is now in a position to offer the possibility of adorning their timepieces with enamelled dials.
