The EMF mainly offers initial vocational training leading to a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) in the technical field, with a systematic integration of Professional Maturity during apprenticeship (MP1) courses. The combination of the two titles (CFC + MP1), in a full-time academic form, naturally favors access to HES - Hautes Ecoles Spécialises.
To counter the academic nature that is induced, training includes a professionalization phase that complements the training and greatly facilitates entry into the labor market. The training is therefore organized into two distinct phases: “school” - during the first three years - then “internships” - in the fourth year.
The EMF has two “trades” sections called “EMF-Industry” and “EMF-Informatics”. A third “EMF-vocational maturity” section provides vocational maturity education in integrated form (MP1) or general knowledge courses (eCG) to EMF apprentices. This section also offers post-CFC Professional Maturity (MP2) courses for qualified professionals, in the TASV-Technical, Architecture and Life Sciences orientation.
The EMF also offers assistance for the implementation of mobility projects, individually or for training companies.
